Extremely tranquil and unique accommodation. You can hear so much birdsong from the deck. Set up with thoughtful touches - wood for a fire, fresh coffee. The village and house is beautiful. It's like staying in a rural cabin but you have everything you need - hot shower and comfy bed.

A hidden gem. Feels like you're going back in time.

A hidden gem. Feels like you're going back in time. It's super small, so not a ton of restaurant options and things close up early. This is the place to kick back and read a good book, not go out at night. There's a fantastic taco cart right on the square. Super friendly and truly delicious. Highly recommend exploring the back streets. There's a great little corner place with great coffee, raicilla, and bottled microbrews. The locals are reserved, so don't expect the tourist treatment you get in Puerto Vallarata. The one big negative is that scores of ATVs come roaring through town on the regular. The noise and exhaust are really a bummer.

We actually did not find anything to do, The museum was closed, when we asked around no one could tell us, We ate at three different places. One was next to the hotel, their Canela con Leche was delicious. we had tacos at the town square, and breakfasts at the hotel.

San Sebastian del Oeste is small village in the mountains East of Puerto Vallarta that has the look and feel of being in Spain. It's a very enjoyable place to spend a day or two, and contrast very well with Puerto Vallarta.

The history of the town is intriguing, and you get the feeling the residents are proud. The old cobble stone streets and stone walls and bridges make you aware every minute of the antiquity of the town. It is the cleanest, basura free town I have been to in Mexico. I will return
