The lakes are beautiful and the area is safe but interesting and quiet. we drove to Las Nubes waterfall which took about 2.5hrs each way and was an beautiful drive which I recommend but you do go on an unpaved road for about 20-30mins

Loved the location, the comfort of the cottage, the hosts, and their home cooked food. A great place to explore the other lakes from. By the way we are from Canada. Booking com has a strange way of keeping track of their clients.

Tziscao is very calm especially in the low season.

Tziscao is very calm especially in the low season. We liked it a lot but we hoped there would be more hiking trails available between the different lakes. With a bit of research with the local community we found some hiking trails but the main lakes are touristy and only accessible for swimming/exploring in a boat. Ask Aron who has a restaurant and gas station just outside of tziscao about a hike from there to lake pojoj: best views await!!
