Whilst the restaurant food in the evening was very, very good, breakfast let it down.
Good selection if cold food is your preference, hot food was cold and very salty.
Seems to be an order your own omelette bar but was not manned / staff were not around for it.
This hotel offers comfortable rooms with a flat-screen TV, just over 20 minutes’ drive from Arnhem. Stadshotel Doesburg features a restaurant with panoramic views over the River IJssel.

The location is excellent, right on the river with a lovely view. The town is 5 minutes walk away. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Underground car park meant the car was off the road. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent.

The standard seemed not especially modern but it was comfortable, clean and well attended to. The proprietor was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I could park my bike in a large shed round the back, which is locked up at night. Breakfast was good, I thought the coffee was above average! For the evening meal the proprietor pointed me to an excellent restaurant a few hundred metres down the road. A nice relaxing overnight stay on my bike tour!
