Everything is outdated and looks tired.

Everything is outdated and looks tired. Needs a spruce up for the price being charged. To charge for Linen and then provide torn sheets. No towels. Dirty and broken shower. Narrow uncomfortable beds...the list goes on.. Just not a nice experience overall and regret booking this place

There is not much at all in Halfweg town in terms of bars and restaurants, but it is easy to jump on the train to Harleem, Zandvoort or Amsterdam Central. Droompark is nice, I really loved the greenery, the woods, lakes and the peacefulness of the park and I would stay again.

Halfweg itself is a small village, with not much to it. The location is literally halfway between Haarlem and Amsterdam though and the surroundings are nice for cycling and walking. The location close to Schiphol is convenient, but also source of lots of noise pollution from the planes.

Stayed here whilst on a work trip in Amsterdam and loved the relaxed vibe at the end of each day. Plus we could park our van beside the accommodation. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station which went regularly into Amsterdam Central and Haarlem.

Halfweg is a lovely town, its name, which translates as "...

Halfweg is a lovely town, its name, which translates as "halfway," comes from its location approximately halfway between Haarlem and Amsterdam (proxy. 8 km (5.0 mi). Very quite and accessible., with very nice people. There are supermarket's where you can shop at very good price. There are trains running from 15 to 15 minutes, going to Amsterdam, Haarlen, Den Haag, Rotterdam , etc.

Clean amd comfortable room (located in the new building). Large enough for two people. Super nice staff. Simple but good breakfast. Good location to visit a.o. Amsterdam. Free parking. Stairs maybe difficult for some people with issues. However, staff was kind and carried my bag makingvthe stars easier to take. During workingsdays mostly constructionworkers were staying as guests. Alltogether, staff, visitors, bar, restaurant, and the quite room created a homey feeling and a nice stay in balance with price.

This hotel is perfect for those who needs to spend a night in Amsterdam but doesn’t need that the hotel is located in the city center. Perfect for drivers because of a good parking. Extremely friendly hosts! Thanks a lot to the person who helped us with our dinner 🙏🏻 (by a mistake, we bought some stuff that needs to be cooked at the supermarket, but we got a friendly help at the hotel). Also the room was warm and clean, and the bed is comfortable to sleep 👍

Very clean hotel with free parking. Quiet location just 10' walk from the train station and 15' (2 stops) from Amsterdam Central station. Very good internet and kind and helpful staff. The breakfast had the basics and the best thing was that you paid for it on the spot (if you wanted to eat you paid 10 euros per person, if you didn't want nothing). The location was also good for driving to the villages of Voledam, Edam, Marken and Zaadam.

Chalets are large and spacious with a good size bathroom and shower. Restaurant on site is very good, Sophia's Italian, and also a good take away service with 'Crazy Fries'. Close to the railway station with free parking, Halfweg-Zwanenburg, only 2 minutes by car and the journey to central station is 10 minutes with a train every 20 minutes.

The location was perfect for visiting Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Keukenhof. The house is styled nicely, with a modern layout and decor. Loved the space - huge yard, kitchen, living space was perfect for our party of 8! Kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils. Pool was great!!! Nice and warm on a chilly spring day!

Walkable distance from the train, even with luggage. The facilities were good and met our needs. It was very relaxing on the lake and still easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam within 15 minutes on the train. The nearby outlet mall within walking distance was fantastic. Bike hire service was good value.

Clean room. On-site restaurant is very good. Love the view from the room, overlooking a pond with lots of ducks. The park in situated between Amsterdam and Haarlem and either is easily reachable from the Halfweg train station, about a 20 minute walk from the park.

Friendly staff, we could check in after 10pm without problems. Eventhough the hotel is located at a busy street, with closed windows you don’t hear the noise from the traffic. Location is good, 5min by train from Ams Centraal plus a short walk.
