Such idyllic grounds, beautifully decorated suite and already warmed up. Gorgeous flowers awaited us on the table on arrival as well as delicious coffee, a fridge (we had brought Champagne). It's like having your own home away from home, very spacious, quiet and the surrounding area is beautiful.

Great to have a safe place to lock my bike. Wonderful location in the old town of Leerdam, minutes walk from the glass shops, river and marina. Plenty to see and do right there. Hotel breakfast was ample and dinner was great, suggestions as to what menu items were good, gladly received. Charming old building and great people running it. I had booked a single bedroom which was huge and very bright with a great bathroom. The breakfast was also very good and staff were very polite and helpful and I felt right at home. A very nice restaurant is downstairs and in summer you can sit outside on a veranda right by the canal. Location is great as you can explore Leerdam itself (try the Leerdam cheese in one of the local cheese shops) and surroundings.

I paid the same amount for a hotel in Amsterdam having one fifth smaller room. This hotel's room have a super cozy space, bathtub, nice furniture, good restaurant, friendly staff and all.
