Room was lovely with a wonderful overview of the fields. Nicely situated in the countryside. Staff was extremely flexible in securing our electric bikes. Excellent selection of wines.

The standard seemed not especially modern but it was comfortable, clean and well attended to. The proprietor was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I could park my bike in a large shed round the back, which is locked up at night. Breakfast was good, I thought the coffee was above average! For the evening meal the proprietor pointed me to an excellent restaurant a few hundred metres down the road. A nice relaxing overnight stay on my bike tour!
Please note! From 1 October 2023, construction/renovation work will start on Castle Huis Bergh. The castle will be closed! From 1 January 2024, the castle will be partly under scaffolding.

This accommodation is a one of a kind. Exceptional. We were 2x couples and rented both towers. So after closing hours of the restaurant at 17:00 we had the whole Castle for ourselves and even got our own keys to the Castle. The people were extra nice, great breakfast in the garden in the morning with picnic baskets. A very memorable stay.

we didn;t feel welcome, every order had to go in to look for...
we didn;t feel welcome, every order had to go in to look for staff, who, in between, while we were only the two of use, took their coffee break on the terrace the five of them. Their conversation was louder than ours. When mentioned to the owner when he asked how it was, his explaination was that staff did'nt waited on the terrace because it would disturb the quests?!
