We stayed in a floating room. Although there is a plaque saying it dates from 1904 the barge itself is covered over and all that remains in a couple of sumptuous large rooms fitted with an enormous bed. The hotel itself is quirky and in great condition. We loved it. Top tip - give yourself some time to mooch around the hotel and the environs, it's exceptional.

Everything about this stunning place was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was brilliant. They look after their guests and the environment.
