Lovely, well equiped cottage in a quiet setting in the mountains. You have a fantastic view of the mountains, definitely from the deck, which has multiple chairs and two small tables, so you can eat outside. About half an hour drive from Flam and Kaupanger, as well as from Vossevangen.

We were unaware that the whole area / hotel shuts down over the winter. We actually left a day early or we wouldn't have been able to catch our ferry! More info on website about this may have been helpful.

Amazing place! If you are looking for a 5-star hotel with all facilities, please do not book here. However, if you simply want a good place to sleep, a bar with excellent vibes and welcoming staff, this is the place to be! Sandra is an excellent host who is very welcoming and helpful to all guests. Although it was mentioned that there was no breakfast provided, she suprised us with complimentary croissants and coffee. Combine that with a wonderful view of the fjord and good weather and you have an experience that many 5* hotels can only dream of. Nice bar with local ciders, pool table and musical atmosphere.

Dragsvik Fjordhotell is located along the Gaularfjellet National Tourist Route (National Scenic Routes) The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.

The location was wonderful. Even though it was 9 km away from Balestrand, it was easily accessible by bus. The meals were excellent, the rooms were very clean and the owners were very helpful.

Although the nearby restaurant was closed, there was a Coop Prix and Joker supermarkets for us to buy our grocerries. Everything was perfect. As per our request, we were given an apartment with a balcony with sea view. In fact, this was the best place we stayed during our 16 days long journey.
