We enjoyed our stay a lot! Hotel located in a distant area, next to the historical road. The location is ideal for those who want to enjoy nature and quietness. The hotel, which was built in the 19th century (wow!), is absolutely charming both inside and outside. A special thanks I want to say to the family who runs the hotel. They did a really great job of making all the visitors feel comfortable. The family owners invest so much love and attention to detail in this place, you can feel it. Everything is perfectly clean and beautiful. In addition, perfect sleep with the sounds of a waterfall as a bonus.

Lovely hotel in a beatuful village in a scenic valley. Good spot, great breakfast, friendly helpful staff - they gave us great advice to take the amazing scenic route over the mountains towards Bergen rather than the very long tunnel. Thanks for that.

Beautifully renovetad old house on preserved street. Good comfy bed and shower, well equipped kitchen with all you need. Parking is neer and free. Close to everything so location is perfect. Place is special and we lived it - added a second night.

Spacious, modern apartment, very well equipped kitchen with a lot of basic foodstuff like oil, vinegar, spices, etc. It felt like being at home. Great and cozy sofa with modern TV. Everything. Amazing view to the mountains, a quiet place, close to the downtown (with car) and very clean. We were lucky to be almost the only ones in the hotel. The reception was closed on the day we arrived, but self check in was very easy if you follow the instructions. The kitchen was well equipped. After reading other reviews I knew exactly what to expect and was not disappointed. Yes, the beds could have been more comfortable or longer (beds are not suited for very tall people of 2 m height), yes, the accommodation might be in need for some refreshing, but the price performance is great if you are in need for one night layover with family. There was a bit of a trouble with self checkout, but the property was easily reachable with a call to sort the issue out.
