The location was great, a little drive out of town allows you to have the peace and quiet. We lay a picnic blanket down on the lawn and sat in the sun taking in the beautiful surrounding view. The host was so friendly and welcoming! Would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Great location, a real treat. Very cosy stay and the locally roasted Matakana coffee was beautiful. Room was nicely decorated with a real homely feel.

Check-in was excellent, nothing too hard at all. Parking available which was great, rooms very clean, tidy with no musty, damp smell - We'd stay there again.

We were completely blown away by this place! We booked it last minute as a child-free treat to ourselves before the kids got back from their grandparents and it did not disappoint. The privacy, the layout of the baches, the bedding, the details (insect repellent!!), the pool (perfect temp and we stayed in way longer than we had planned, in the rain - BLISS!). We loved our stay at plume villas. Everything was well done and all facilities within the room were excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we had to go into Matakana for dinner We will definitely stay again
