This is a very clean and spacious place to stay in Taupo, and very quiet at night (so good for sleeping). The spa is just wonderful - it has a fantastic pool and hot tub outdoors, and a sauna and steam room indoors. The staff were of the high quality you'd expect from the Hilton, just brilliant and so helpful. The bar was also a joy with big leather couches and a great drinks selection.
We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food was top quality with (again) great service from the staff who are so willing to help. I'd highly recommend this as a good value option if you do not need to stay in the heart of the town (it's a little bit of a drive from the centre).

The private double bedroom was great and really comfortable, it was great spot to do a break from the van life, bathroom (shared with the other private room not the entire dorm) was very clean.
