My daughter & I stayed overnight the room was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. It was just bliss to arrive at such a comfortable homely overnight place after a very long few days of travelling and driving. We would absolutely 💯 ❤️ encourage anyone looking for a motel to stay in so close to supermarket, and food outlets. Thankyou sorry it's taken so long to reply we have had whanau from Australia over. Definitely would stay again when back up that way.

Had a back room it was comfy quiet and cosy, thoroughly enjoyed. Was suppose to just stay the night but ended up staying two nights. Spa bath in room was lovely. Highly recommended this place. I would book this place again.

I like Whakatane area it has some great shop's, but when were in the Bay of Plenty we spend most of our time in beautiful Matata and Kawerau visiting with whanau. The beaches in Matata are truly beautiful, Matata is another great place to visit it's 20mins out of Whakatane great for fishing.

Whakatane is great for walkers with plenty of paths and toilets. Its family friendly and very clean. Pedestrian crossings seem to be missing but the locals were great and stopped at all the courtesy stops. We found some great places to eat and notes the town had more than everything you would need. Whakatane has a huge variety of shopping stores, eating facilities, bars, hairdressers in fact everything really and for everyone. The Hub which is just across the bridge is another shopping area with Kmart and Briscoe being my favourites but again shopping for everyone. Bunnings the huge warehouse is a goldmine easy to get carried away when shopping there. The walkway/cycling lane along the waterfront is an awesome stroll. Accomodation....heaps to choose from....you have to visit to appreciate Whakatane.HoneyNew Zealand - 10Scored 10
