Oh, I took a moment to share my review. Trust me, this is one of the best camps in Oman. I have visited many camps but this one is the best of the best. The breakfast was very delicious with fresh vegetables and beef. The owner of the camp was very kind and picked me up from Bidya to the desert.The drive from Bidya to the camp in a Nissan Patrol Safary 4 WD ohhh this is my love. One day I will buy this car and drive to the desert again. We rented camels, quads, open fire, good beads all the best. Believe me, it's better than you might think.

We had an amazing stay with Saeed! The camp is beautifully located between dunes and far away from other camps (it looks on booking as if it would be next to a street, but it's not) and is composed of just 5 tents, which allowed for a more private & authentic experience. The camp, the food, the people, the program - everything was amazing. Saaed and his whole crew were really passionate about giving all guests the best experience possible.

The star gazing domes are really cool, overlooking sand dunes where you can go sliding. This Chalet is family run so there is care going into keeping it clean, well equipped & maintained. We did a package tour with Abdulaziz and Mr. Khalid which was great too as it was an addon to staying at their Chalet. The area is very safe, the hosts are such amazing people and would highly recommend staying at Al Rooh.
