It’s very well located, within walking distance to SF centre. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was absolutely lovely; whatever we asked him for it was no issue at all, even though he did not speak English he would always find a way to help us.

The villa is a dream. The view is fantastic. The crew is welcoming and accommodating at all times. The rooms are not very big but that is not necessary as we were outside most of the time anyway. Camotes is a nice village. Mercy is a good cook and the food is delicious!

RedDoorz at Homa Resort Hotel, hotel in Camotes Islands

RedDoorz at Homa Resort Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Camotes Islands. With a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a private beach...

The property is well designed so as not be over crowded. You could definitely have a relaxing stay here. The place does not look commercial at all. It has a nice well maintained infinity pool. It is actually located at the top of a cliff, which makes it very unique. There are stairways to go to the bottom of the cliff accessing the sea where you could actually swim during low tide. You could also enjoy watching the sunrise here. The staff (led by Gina and Shaina) are few but exceptionally helpful. I actually learned that Gina and her hubby runs the property. They were very accommodating (within reason) on our needs and kept the property clean. They also run a kitchen so you could actually order all your meals without leaving the property. The food are reasonably priced and has generous serving. Most of the food are traditional Filipino foods but they have some international as well. They actually also have a car pick up service.

Enjoyed the fact that they had cliff diving down the front of the resort. The restaurant food was great even though it was more expensive than eating out. The staff are wonderful and friendly. If you want to get any food other then the resort it’s a 15min drive into town but worth it to go to boardwalk as there is so many options.

Great people with good hearts. Gorgeous beaches.

Great people with good hearts. Gorgeous beaches. An economically depressed region, you can feel the desperation on a daily basis. Epic hustling! I would not advise for solo female travelers. Lots of retired male westerners.

The place is amazing, there are so many undiscovered tourist spots which you can enjoy. One day is not enough to tour around. For the 12 spots I listed to be visited in this place only 4 was achieved because it is such a beautiful place where you like to spend more than an hour and be able to feel the beauty and tranquility of their nature, specially in swimming inside/under the caves. I promise to go back on this place with my family again.

Camotes is definitely worth a visit.

Camotes is definitely worth a visit. Many interesting places to visit. when you arrive off the ferry you'll encounter at least a hundred (this is not an exaggeration) drivers vying for you business so you will have a choice of vehicles ranging from motorcycle, tricycle and jeepney. Choose a comfortable one because the destinations to the various resorts can be quite lengthy. You can also negotiate the fair. They start at 100 pesos per person.

    Camotes island is so underrated!

Camotes island is so underrated! Their beaches were phenomenal!!!!! I couldn't get enough of their clear crystal like beaches. Everything is so cheap! Also, the people there were really nice! especially our tour guide from Poro Wharf/Port, kuya Proktoy, he was heaven sent! He was very patient and kind and such an honest soul. Also, if he is your tour guide, make sure to include him in your meals, he doesn't talk much and he doesn't ask for anything that's why even if he feels hungry he won't say anything. But don't worry he doesn't eat much to take a chunk off your budget. If you want to contact kuya Proktoy, here is the number, 09070902991
