Located in a peaceful rural area and set in spacious and well kept grounds, Octant Villa Monte is a calm and comfortable retreat. The hotel was beautiful and tranquil, clean, great food and in a peaceful area near to the beach.

It is very easy to find the hotel with a gps. It is not in the city centre, but we were able to drive easily into town and park.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Don Rodrigues. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything as described in the amenities list.
Breakfast was something to mention. It had everything one would expect af a normal continental breakfast, but what made it special was a cake table with at least eight different kinds of cakes and tarts. They even had a pasteie de Nata, like a custard tart, that was really delicious. How I wish I could get the recipe. ;-D
On check-out they gave each of us a very special pen, which was a nice surprise.
I can recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget.
