It's worth stopping at Casa das Portas on the Camino. The hosts were friendly and the dorm room a good size. It was lovely sitting by the pool to relax before a fabulous meal provided, including fresh strawberries picked from the garden.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The Bedroom was spacious and beautifully furnished in the period of the House. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We were allowed to use the lounge room and the continental breakfast in the dining room was superb.

Everything! The house and location is beautiful and located next to an olive grove. It’s very calm and peaceful and is perfect if you’re looking for a few days in nature. We met the daughter of the owner the next day who made sure all of our needs were met.
