It was a good basic place just off the Camino route. The shower did leak a little which made the bathroom quite wet. But otherwise it was comfy, had food at a good price and the staff were very nice!

Hotel was right on the center of things to see. Left a day early because it got too crowded. It was a special event that only happens every 4 years. Sunday was just on there about to walk around the streets. Not hotel fault.

Very helpful staff member who gave us great in formation on local sights and restaurants. It is in a central location to the town centre and just across the road from the river. There are quite a few restaurants in the local side streets. Quite a good breakfast was included as well.

Location of the flat is excellent - very central and could access everything on foot. It was great to be able to easily pop back during a day of sightseeing. Even though it's so central, it's a really quiet street and we weren't disturbed at all. Groceries are a short walk away.
The flat is very spacious and the bed is huge and comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower, although hot water weakens quite quickly.
Thelma was very helpful and met us promptly on arrival. She also let us leave our bags for a few hours after checking out, which was really great to get a few more hours of exploring in before leaving.
Tomar is amazing! Our first time here and absolutely loved it. There is loads to see and a rich and interesting history to learn about. The convent and aqueduct are particularly stunning, but just wondering the streets in the sunshine is lovely. A perfect weekend getaway to a small town without many crowds (we came in May 2024). You absolutely don't need a car - we came by train from Lisbon and it was very straightforward, and everything you need is walking distance.
