The hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the spa with the sauna was excellent and we loved that we could use the spa of sentido galomar (the hotel beside uss) as well. The breakfast was soooo delicious and there was a hughe buffet with fresh smoothies, fruits and everything you need. You also had vegan options as soja jogurt. To the parking situation: we always had a parking slot. And it didn't bother us to pay 40 cent/hour for the parking. That is so cheap and you have the slots right in front of your hotel room.

Botanical garden was exceptional. Very good spa facilities. Welcoming and friendly staff, especially Raymondo in the Siddharta bar! Comfortable apartment. 25 minute bus ride to Funchal.

We really liked the following: the relaxed atmosphere, the very child-friendly staff, the small playground next to the hotel and the activities offered for children, the spacious family room with separate bedroom and kitchen unit and of course the excellent and varied food - especially the dessert (I have rarely eaten such delicious cakes).
