The location is amazing, a.lot of things easily accesible. Reccomend to rent a car and just stay here as a base and go to beaches around the area.

I liked the indoor pool area, which was a good size and great for kids. It was also nice to have a sauna. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The manager Francisco was exceptional. He went out of his way to provide advice on route, transport mode, places to go. I saw him carry heavy luggage for other hotel guests without them asking for help.

I thought the hotel itself on balance was really cool and great value. Quirky and old fashioned. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and bar. We had a couple of meals at the restaurant, which were perfectly decent and just about reasonably priced. We had a superior double room each, which included an amazing view of the beach. The features of the room are fairly standard, but all were working, clean, and tidy.
Breakfast was decent enough, with plenty of options.
I especially liked the bar area, which has lots of booths with views for a cosy drink with your travel party. A taxi is 10 euro into Cascais, or rental scooters or bikes can be found on the path that runs along the coastal road.

I stayed for my boyfriend’s bday and it was wonderful. The employees were all very kind and left some welcome gifts in our room + a surprise cake for breakfast. It was a fantastic stay! Would love to repeat

The hotel, an old palacio, was gorgeous, in lovely grounds. The rooms were decorated with frescoes and old furniture matching the style of the palace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included buffet breakfast had many great options to chose from (or have it all!). The tasting menu dinner was delicious and an evening drink on the terrace watching the sun go down was beautiful. There is a path opposite the hotel that shortcuts the hill walk up to Pena Palace or Moorish Castle. It is fairly rough but fine for those who are steady on their feet. Not far from Regaleira palace and Sintra town either.
