We were Self Catering but the complimentary eggs from the owners free range chickens were very much appreciated. We were invited to join them for a typical Portuguese meal on two occasions. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The location was beautiful and at night you could hear nothing except the frogs in the pond. If you a looking for solitude to enjoy the sun and a pool then this is the place.

We did not try the breakfast because we were leaving very early to walk before it was hot. The room was great and a very good size, very good to have kitchen facilities. I loved using the pool and there was a pleasant Veranda area nearby to sit and eat food or relax.

Very helpful staff, facilitated early check-in, much appreciated after early morning flight,fresh orange juice and live music entertainment while having breakfast by the pool on Thursday morning was gorgeous. Bedroom and bathroom very clean and comfortable, beautiful Damana toiletries, a feast for the senses! Charming old style hotel with a homely feeling. Great location for beach, marina, shops and restaurants. Will definitely return.😀
