Host was friendly & very helpful.
Accommodation was spotless & room beautifully decorated. However, the bathroom was not located in our room, just outside which was ok but would have preferred in room.
Lots of parking.

Grândola is in fact the municipality (one of the largest in area in Portugal) that is located south of Lisbon in the west coast of Alentejo. The city of Grândola itself is a small town just like many other nice, old towns in Portugal. What makes this area special are the Tróia Península (and access to Setúbal), Comporta, Carvalhal and Melides, with all its rice fields and rural landscape just some kms away from unspoilt beaches and excellent surfing spots. The food is also excellent, particularly fresh fish and seafood and the whole area is perfect for outdoor activities (walking, biking, horse riding, surfing, bird watching, etc).

Grandola is a regional town with not much going on.
Grandola is a regional town with not much going on. We had lunch in a local restaurant on Sunday which was very traditional and we were made to wait for ages until being shown to a table. Alcacer Do Sal is the place to be for a little more going on.

Grandola is a wuiet small town.
Grandola is a wuiet small town. It has a modern area and can buy fuel. The old town has great beauty without being twee. Lovely to see this in original form without being made twee. Good coffee shops. A sat nav or smart phone is a must unless you speak the language. We used this as an overnighter on a trip to Lisbon. A good place with about a 2 hour max run into Lisbon.
We had a wonderful time at the Herdade. The surroundings are beautiful, the décor of the facilities is very tasteful and conducive to relaxation. The staff was attentive and very welcoming, an Elsa, one of the owners, was so kind to spend some time with us talking about the property's history and the ins & outs of cork production in Portugal.
They have a great food menu, everything we tried was of the highest quality, featuring local products.
Muito obrigados pela hospitalidade Elsa, Daniela e Catarina :)
We loved everything about our stay. Staff in the hotel were amazing and very helpful. They gave us even better room than we were supposed to get even that we booked the place last minute. The view in our room was truly amazing. Overall the hotel is in such a peaceful and quiet place that it makes it perfect for a weekend gateway. Rooms were spacious, super clean with fireplace and great shower. And the best part was the bed, which was extremely comfortable. We got the best sleep. Highly recommend to anyone!
Small Boutique friendly very well appointed hotel very comfortable beds, great breakfast, Cool and stylish with nice pool, jacuzzi and relaxing area.Free good wifi and good tv and channels. Short walk from centre of this unassuming delightful, friendly town. Stayed there several times and exceptional value. Friendly helpful staff and a real home from home. Highly recommended by a serious and seasoned traveller. Try O Cruzamento for food a short drive away
i loved my stay at Goodmuda. The property is spacious and stunning. my room was super comfortable
and tastefully decorated, and so was the tipi. the land is peaceful. the breakfasts are the best I have had of all the Airbnb I have traveled in Portugal. but the best of all is Miguel and Chelsea’s hospitality. Goodmuda is hosted by good and lovely people. feeling grateful to have connected with them. 🙏🏾🤎
We don’t speak Portuguese but it didn’t matter:) The owners made us feel like we were friends. The food was local and very tasty. The room, bathroom and dining area were VERY clean. We’ve been traveling for 7 weeks and this was one of the hotels we didn’t want to leave. If you like quite and a warm country welcome, with a very reasonable price, this is a gem.
Loved our studio! comfy, bright, cosy and tranquil. we felt at home. Breakfast was great! Location also amazing ! 20 m ins away from gorgeous beaches and 5 mins from town of Grandola! Perfect for people that enjoy being in nature. Morning walks at the trails of the Herdade were a plus! The Dias family( owners) are awsome hosts! we will come back for sure!
The welcome from Pedro and his family, his father Antonio and mother Fatima was so friendly & genuine that we were taken with the property from the moment we arrived. This is not a 5 star hotel, but the honesty & warmth was 5 star. Nothing was a problem, breakfast was excellent especially the scrambled eggs from their own hens.
Word on the street has not spread yet to include this area of Portugal but that is too bad. We loved being so remote and really experiencing it. The hotel offered a great breakfast and recommendations for dinner as well as a kitchen to make your own dinner. The pool area was great - better than the photos.
Pretty much a perfect stay! Beautiful accommodation and setting, clean, quiet, very friendly, great breakfast, and we loved exploring the running/cycle paths within the grounds. The location was also ideal, being so close to Grandôla and Comporta for restaurants, beautiful beaches and local wineries.
The pool and the outside are are really great. The location is also good because it's 30 min from the coast (sandy beaches) and less than 10 min from Grândola where you can buy groceries or find restaurants.
The stay at A Serenada Enoturismo has been the highlight of our trip. The staff and facilities were wonderful and the wine and food was fantastic. I will recommend it to anyone coming to Portugal!
Very friendly helpful staff and clean and comfortable boutique hotel with great facilities and great breakfast. Stayed before and as a seasoned traveller I highly recommend. Great value.
The warm welcome, the special attention given to additional requests, the space outside, the breakfast. Also very well located in the centre of Grândola . Excellent price/quality ratio
Our room was beautiful and very clean. The staff were exceptional, they were helpful and friendly. It was our first time in Grandola and we would definitely come back and stay here!
