We checked in after visiting Salina turda (sault mines) Hotel parking is on the stret across the road, next to a nice park for kids. Hotel staff was really friendly. Rooms were clean an specious with a fridge in the room. After we checked in we went for a lunch at hotel restaurant. Restaurant had great food (and was not expensive). Breakfast was in the restaurant on the top floor, buffe, with a nice view of the ciry. Spa area was clean and nice. Kids enjoyed the pool i liked salted massage pool. Sauna could be a bit more hot, but overall everying was satisfactory for the price. We woud come again.

We were very pleased with the visit. The house is located 5-10 minutes walk from one entrance of the salt mine - Salina Turda. The pictures in Booking correspond to reality. The kitchen is very well equipped. Parking is on the street next to the house, there is enough space. We visited the house at the end of October. It was very warm and cozy inside.

Cheile Turzii is a well known tourist destination and is indeed great. Access it from Petrestii de Jos. It is less busy than the other end.
Tureni also has its own Cheile Turenilor. We have only checked it briefly one night but it might also worth a longer visit :)
Nearby you also have Salina Turda and Strandul Durgau, not to miss them. If you are interested in monasteries, Manastirea Mihai Voda is worth a visit.
