Exceeded our expectation. For 3 stars it offered 4,5 star accommodation and BREAKFAST!!! The room had a magic view of the mountains, was top-notch clean, with lovely comfy duvets and big soft pillows. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this great value for money hotel if you just want to have a great time hiking in a lovely village with great restaurants.

Great location, friendly and flexible staff, very good dinner (have to order in advance!)/breakfast included, big parking lot. Old style mountain hotel might not suit everyone, but if you are a regular hiker, you would be satisfied! Note we stayed in a two floor room for 4/5 people - no problem, but you might need different kind of accomodation, just ask in advance, hotel seems big enough.

During our 2 night stay in July, we had the whole place to ourselves. There is fully equipped kitchen we could use, as well as a living room area with adjustable armchairs and a TV. The bathroom is a bit retro, but has everything one might need. Before our stay, the host asked, whether we prefer having a double bed or two single ones. Also, there’s a backyard you can hang out in with a very friendly dog waiting to play with any visitors… :) As Terchová is a small town, everything important was reachable 15 minutes at max by foot.
