Wonderful ancient sites , lovely peaceful hotel and nearby restaurant under the Acropolis!! Local otogard ( coach station) is almost deserted so travellers need to be told about the regular transit bus service to the town/ hotels

Bergama is one of the Stops that I did for the Bike tour in Izmir. Pergamum Acropolis is the main highlight of the area and worth the visit. The town is quite quaint and was a refreshing change from the city where I came from. I was travelling on a bike - so getting around town is quite easy enough, walking through town was also pleasant. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes - as the city is on cobbles and quite hilly. Across from the Bergama Museum - there is a nice outdoor Beer Garden where one can have some kebabs and beer.

It is a must seen site.

It is a must seen site. Both Akropol and Asklepion are one of the best in ancient history. Lovely landscape and rich history. Please do not expect night life here. Todays Bergama town might be a little difficult to drive around, cause it has narrow, one way streets like in Spain, but GPS works really well. It is safe for solo travelers too.

The hotel is in a characterful group of buildings set around a couple of very attractive courtyards which make it feel like an oasis of calm set aside from the busy streets of Bergama. Rooms and facilities are generous and we enjoyed the courtyard as a setting for breakfasts, dinner and drinks, plus using the small pool to cool down after visting the sights. The hotel is well located for walking to the main historic sites and exploring the historic centre of Bergama.

January 2024 Well, we're back, after 4 years. The great same service, warm rooms and great view of the Acropolis. A tasty buffet breakfast and great location too. The staff were once again exceptional. We'll be happy to stay here again should we return for a fourth visit to Bergama. January 2019 Loved this hotel, super friendly staff and great rooms. Price was reasonable and nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again for sure.

This is a hotel in a small village in the hills. It is a 30 minute drive either to Bergama or to the beach. The rooms are basically just standalone stone buildings. The owners are a charming family that do everything they can for you to feel amazing! It is quiet and comfortable (aside from the Mosque that may wake you up early in the morning). The breakfast and the dinner in the evening (included!) are delicious and tasty!

This is a charming hotel with a large courtyard and a small neat pull. Rooms are spacious and can easily accommodate four guests. It is rated 1 star on Google, which is ridiculous. It is nor Sheraton, but it is a very solid three stars. And the location is rather good. Parking is available at any time in the nearby streets, and the cable car to Acropolis (which is insanely expensive, but it is not hotel’s fault…)

For a stay in Bergama, this place can't be beat. It's small and family-run, and it's remarkably well-kept. The decor in the rooms was lovely, and the breakfast in the morning was top-notch. If I ever find myself traveling between Istanbul and Izmir, I will definitely book this place!

I have to start with the price, because this was unbelievably inexpensive. The hotel is not in a great location for restaurants or nightlife, but the cost makes up for that. The room was fine, with the bathroom a little tighter than I would like. Overall, a pleasant place to stay

It’s a little gem of a place. Vedat is an amazing host and serves the best breakfast during my 18 day trip in Turkey. Temperature control for both room and shower was top notch. The restaurant opposite the hotel was incredible too!
