Firstly, the location is excellent as it’s a short flat 5min walk to the waterfront but set back up a side street so very quiet. Has a car park. Then you walk into the gates into a little slice of paradise. Immaculately maintained and beautifully designed. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily by the cheerful ladies employed. Comfortable bed, aircon, good shower and a place to lay out toiletries (important). Fridge in room. Two pools which are beautiful and if you order some beers they are brought in an ice bucket :) Probably the highlight of the day is the magnificent high quality breakfast which has a few different things each day and is utterly delicious. And at 5pm tea and cake is served poolside. The whole place is peaceful and relaxing. The property is well managed by the owners who are present and on top of everything and they have a happy team of staff!

Extensive Breakfast and served especially for you. Children are very welcome and views with the large clean swimming pool are the highlight. Really nice place. Nearly didn’t book it as it was so cheap and had mixed reviews - but I think it was very good. Spotless, lovely pool and great breakfast. Very close walking distance to the main centre. Would defo stay again.

I don't know where to start. The hotel owners, Mr. Ozan and his mother, are wonderful people. This of course also applies to the guys who work there. Friendly, fast, helpful, quality. I was always asked if they could help me in any way. I could go on and on about the quality and service. The Turkish breakfast served is great and there is plenty of everything. The rooms are clean and have a great view. Don’t hesitate about this hotel and every cent will be worth it.

This charming hotel is one of the most relaxing and delightful places I have ever stayed. The town is geared up for Turkish tourists, not for Northern Europeans. So menus are not always available in English and hotel and restaurant staff do not all speak English. Food in most places is local Turkish, although you can find burgers and Pizzas if you really want to. And the local food is delicious! Lovely seafood and fabulous meze.
The house is right on the seafront. Super helpful staff. But this is not a flash, soul-less five star. It is a quirky, individual place to stay, as if you are in someone's home. The place is spotlessly clean but some of the fittings, such as taps, are not super modern.
Breakfast was superb. Eggs cooked to order alongside freshly baked Turkish bread and a different pastry every day. Plus a simple but delicious salad with cheese, olives, honey and conserves. I am going to miss this so much!
Hotel restaurant was excellent - we ate there every other night so that we could compare with other places in walking distance. The setting was a delight, sitting right next to the sea as you dine!
Tea and fantastic cakes arriving at your sunbed at 4pm was a very welcome bonus! After the first day or two we cut down the amount we ate at lunch to make room for tea.
Room was very comfortable with lots of hot water when you needed it in the bathroom. Comfortable bed, lots of pillows and extra bedding in the cupboard. Bug screens on all the doors and windows kept out insects. The aircon was very efficient but we only used it on one night. Stunning view from our room out across the harbour, was wonderful to wake up to.
Before going, I had wondered about how I would feel with people wondering about on the towpath behind the sunbeds. I need not have worried! You are far enough away not to be bothered. And at sunset the staff remove the sunbeds and put the tables out on the pontoon for dinner.

Nice little town has essentials like a pharmacy and mini markets. Lots of choice of places to eat. Lots of fantastic Turkish food.
Delice is great fun - spectacular meze and a local hippie vibe. Sardunya was smart but not too expensive, wonderful seafood. Yamac was also excellent with slightly different Turkish food.

I strongly recommend a boat trip in this area!
I strongly recommend a boat trip in this area! The beaches are all rock from what I saw, and pretty small on the edges of restaurants, so it was nice to get away from that and visit all the little coves in a private boat (much more affordable if you're with a group than what it seems). The town area is really cute, but parking is difficult. Yummy restaurants, but menus are only in Turkish so make sure to have google translate on your phone if you need it.

A lovely and beautiful harbour town, with plenty of restaurants and lovely sunbathing/ swimming opportunities. Relaxed vibe with mainly Turkish tourists, so feels very authentic. Visited a few other towns along the peninsula and this was by far the best. Pure bliss.
People were nice but instead being a butique hotel, its like pansion. The manager (Peri) tries to fix issues but it does not work well. The restaurant they have is good but for the value its expensive. The beach they have is nice but I needed to carry my drinks by my self at the first date. The following day thay have helped for the service. The chef waiter (Burhan) does not have communication so I didnt like him so much. I have restaurants and he can not even work for me for a day.
It was a wonderful stay. Highly recommend to others looking for a place in Selimiye. Great property right by the beach, it’s a boutique hotel with a few rooms so you get great facilities to yourself. I loved being able to get from my room to the beach in 2 mins. Great view from the balcony also a plus. Food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Good variety of breakfast dishes and very fresh seafood. I will come again
Beautiful location, very quiet and just outside of Selimiye but still close enough to town (a leisurely walk of approx. 15 mins, and in addition the hotel provides a regular shuttle service). Very friendly and attentive owners and staff, great pool with excellent view and the adjacent restaurant is highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hope to return to this lovely place one day!
We loved our stay at the Gala Hotel. The family is exceptionally friendly. The hotel is lovely and has an amazing view of Selimiye Bay (shower window is probably the best shower view we have ever had :}. Breakfast is fantastic. Hotel is quiet and away from the main promenade but it is only a 15', nice walk. We are grateful for the hospitality of the staff and hope to return soon.
The hotel has a great location and view which makes you to start your day perfectly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. We were very happy staying there. Next time will definitely plan to stay longer since 2 days is not enough in Selimiye.
Ps: it takes only 4-5 mins drive to the port. Recommend to try fish restaurants on the shore.
Wonderful staff and owner who go out of their way to make you feel good. I wouldn't call it a hotel but your own private house with friendly people around you. Extensive Breakfast and served especially for you. Children are very welcome and views with the large clean swimming pool are the highlight. Hosted by a hospitable, helpful and lovely family. They served us fresh fruits, lemons from their garden. Thanks to the spacious garden, our stay was very peaceful. The room was comfortable. The proximity to the Selimiye beach is 3minutes by walking. You can also spend your day in a private bay located 4km outside of Selimiye.
The location is great, has the most wonderful view. The house is ideal for a family or a group of close friends. You just need to buy groceries, everything else is there for your needs. The host is very kind, friendly and has the best tips for day trips. We would have liked to stay longer if we had the chance.
I stayed at Gala Selimiye with my partner. The breakfast was fantastic and really enjoyed Nesrin's homemade jams. The view from the room was amazing and was great to have a bath in the room.
We enjoyed relaxing at the pool side :) would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.
The breakfast was amazing. I’ve been to Turkey many times over the years, and their breakfast spread is definitely great. The view from the pool is amazing. The rooms were clean and really cute. The AC worked perfectly. The owners were nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
The hotel is in a wonderful place on the hill, where you can enjoy a chic view of the bay. Very green area, the pool has many comfortable layouts and chairs. It was very nice to swim. Thanks for the cool breakfast. Staff are always sneezing, welcoming and ready to help.
The hotel was excellent, with very attentive and welcoming staff. The location is slightly out of the main town but the staff pulsar have been more helpful - shuttling us back and forth to restaurants and town. Just perfect for our 3 night stay!
Everything. The Hotel, the staff. The Breakfast. The view. the staff was so friendly, helpful and attentive. Julien, in particular, was very nice, hospitable and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.
The view is just amazing, the pool is a inviting and kind family owners are always there to help. Breakfast is rich and varies every day. Drink prices are reasonable for a hotel. Oh, did I mention the view? :)
The location of the hotel is really convenient. They have a small parking area for guests' cars. The breakfast was considerably rich and tasty. The stuff and the owners are always caring and ready to help.
De location is very close to the beach at 50 meters of distance and also on the beach they have their own dedicate spot with their sunbeds solely reserved for Green Boutique guests.
The Hotel is the best place you can stay in Selimiye. Clean and comfortable.
Friendly staff, they are always helping you to feel like you are in paradise.
