Location was good but unless you’re very fit you really need a car to get up from the local beach & to get to the restaurants in the evening. It did have a lovely view from the balcony & there were plenty of birds. Shared garden & very steep path to local beach.
There were 4 of us & only 2 bath towels but a quick message to Rhonda & this was soon sorted & we were given beach towels to use too.

The room itself was very nice though - big comfy bed, nice decor, nice big bathroom with walk in shower. The breakfast was also fine.

Planned this get away for my fiancé and I to enjoy the scenery of Speyside. It was a relaxing week spent with a memorable staff of Blue Waters Inn. A revisit is in the near future with my children. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The location of Blue Waters Inn is spectacular.
The location of Blue Waters Inn is spectacular. Speyside itself is a quiet little place and quite remote, which we like, but there's not much there. Jemma's, the one restaurant that was open in Speyside, is characterful and in a great setting; but we were charged a naughty price for a very simple meal of shrimps and rice. The 'main ridge forest' is wonderful, and we had an outstanding tour focused on bird-watching with Mr Newton George, a top ornithologist and guide who lives in Speyside. Charlotteville, a pretty fishing village on the Caribbean side, is only 15 minutes drive away. Also near is Kings Bay, on the Windward side but with good bathing facilities, very few people, and beautifully sheltered.

Speyside is so beautiful.
Speyside is so beautiful. If you’re looking for a R&R away from the hustle and bustle or just to hear the ocean sounds as you wake up, then speyside is where you want to be. It’s an hour and a half from the airport which is the only disadvantage but honestly, the drive wasn’t too bad for the amazing views and relaxations. I had lunch at Jemma’s which was absolutely delicious and dinner at Aqua (blue waters inn) and I was not disappointed. Everything was so tasty and I was honestly blown away.
