It was short and sweet.
It was short and sweet. Beautiful city, with many colourful churches, full of history, has its own identity and definitely is different to other Ukrainian cities. A perfect mix of country and urban life. Everything is in the close vicinity. Absolutely beautiful in late spring. Also, very clean, like the streets and the city is so pristine. If you are already in Kyiv you might as well catch a quick bus for a day trip. You won’t regret it!

The city is quite close from Kyiv and the road is in parts ok, and in parts excellent, so the drive is just fine. The city is nicely redecorated, parks and streets renewed, all well signed. Lots of nice bars, restaurants and cafes. The city also boasts and presents its 1300-years history.KatarzynaPoland

The shower was excellent with hot water coming quickly and with good pressure. Bed was comfortable and temperature in the room pleasant during the cold weather. Very nice coffee at the small bar next to the reception and one liter of water available in the room every day. Staff, especially Victoria, was super friendly and helpful, ready to communicate in good English.

It is on the first floor, so if you’re scared of missiles, this is the perfect place to be in Chernihiv. About 200 meters away from the heart of the city. The staff are very responsive and nice. Easy self check-in and departure. A very cute coffee shop right outside the entrance where you can get coffee in the morning.

Despite the difficulties obviously caused by the war, Reikartz/Chernihiv maintains its prewar standard. Going to stay in Reikartz during the next visits to Chernihiv.
