All the staff was very nice, easy check in was easy.
All the staff was very nice, easy check in was easy. Room was nice size and comfortable. There is no breakfast , just pastries in lobby, the restaurant opens at noon, you have to leave the hotel if you want breakfast. We ate in Alice's Restaurant in the casino and food & service was really good. We did not explore any of the area, except for going to Eureka for and afternoon. Ocean and the bay are about 10 minutes from hotel, lots of little quaint shopping is nearby towns. Plenty of hiking & biking trails. There is a lot to do in the area for families.

Blue Lake Casino is setting a standard for using alternative...
Blue Lake Casino is setting a standard for using alternative solar power and has become a real leader in the community. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I feel very safe there and have returned many times. I highly recommend this hotel. Great sushi in the restaurant downstairs!

Staff at check told us we did not have breakfast included but we did. We missed out on that the first day, but got it on second day due to Staff error. I really liked the hotel over all it was very nice, very noisy group in hallway across from us late into the night. Pool was nice and spa. Hotel has a salon as well which looked really nice. Nice central location to beaches and towns nearby. If you like to gamble the casino looked really nice although we had our kids so didn't get to do that this trip. Alice's was a great restaurant and waiter was very nice! Prices were very reasonable and food was good.

Interesting location. Easy to get to freeway and beaches. Too bad no fridge in room. Staff exceptionally friendly and professional. Good service all around. Room rate reasonable. WiFi kept dropping every 1 minute.
