We were just passing through and needed to rest for the night, although driving to the car wash and the gas station showed us there is not much to do here. There are some cool military vessels off the main highway coming in my kids enjoyed looking at. Other than that, nothing here.

The Townsman Hotel in Boise City is the worst ever.

The Townsman Hotel in Boise City is the worst ever. If it is the only option with rooms in Boise City, there is a reason for that. Don't relive my nightmare keep driving the extra 50 miles to the next city

The facility needed some fine tuning.

The facility needed some fine tuning. Like touch-up painting where spots were chipped or needing finished. The room needed to have some dusting and cleaning around edges. Otherwise the room was fine and the beds were extra firm.

Price was good. It was a last minute booking because of delay caused by a blow out, and this was the only reasonably priced motel anywhere near our modified halfway point. The bedroom was fine, appeared to have some refurbishment done recently (paint was recent and well done, window hardware looked new, and the screen was in perfect condition). Beds were comfortable. Receptionist was nice, and she did fulfill our request for a quiet spot (we had a vacant room on either side of us).

Spotless, comfortable older hotel. Room is well thought out, well designed, and has everything you need, including hair dryer, fridge and microwave. TV is high definition and very large. The owner helped me figure out something in my computer which was not allowing me to reach certain websites. He spent about an hour figuring out and then fixing the problem. Really nice simple hotel, which is a breath of fresh air compared to the large chain motels.

The hotel was awesome!! It looks old and outdated from the outside, but the inside is modern. Room was very comfortable. I laid down and in no time I was asleep and slept the whole night. The bed was way more comfortable then I thought it was going to be when I first sat down on it.

Surprisingly nice little motel. Doesn't look like much from the outside, and Boise City has seen better days, but the room was cozy and comfortable, the shower worked reliably and there was plenty of hot water. What more can you ask?

A hotel in Colorado Springs had messed up my reservation the previous night and everything was booked. My wife and I drove all night and got to the Longhorn Motel very early. They let us check in!

This is not a luxurious place; however, I have stayed in expensive hotels across the United States and this is the cleanest hotel room I have ever experienced. The bed and pillows were excellent.

Hotel was as described. It was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. No frills, but would definitely recommend for an overnight while traveling. Pet friendly with reasonable fee.

It was clean & quiet. There were not many hotel options, so glad we decided to stop for the night on our way to Santa Fe otherwise we’d have been driving all night.

The hotel met expectations. People at the hotel were very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the carpet in the room. Everything else was fine.
