we stayed here for one night on our way to Clarkesville for a holiday rental check in. Our flight was delayed so when I called to advise we would be really late in arriving the amazing receptionists stayed on to allow our booking to go through otherwise we would have missed check in. somewhere to pout our head down after a long flight and a great breakfast the next morning perfect for what we needed

Location was about a half hour away from Helen which was the reason for our stay, Oktoberfest in Downtown Helen Ga. This hotel was one of the last available for the weekend. It has a Mexican restaurant just a few yards away and Starbucks less than a half mile. Also I didn’t realize that I missed breakfast when I went down at 9:20am and the associate turned on the juice machine for me which was very nice.

Best part was the bed. Very comfortable. Clock wasn't plugged in and 2 lights out of 3 did not work! 1 of the drawers was broken. Bathroom was way to small. Limited lighting for a room that size. Didn't eat breakfast

Beautiful facility in picturesque countryside. Restaurant was excellent - food and service. Room was well equipped and comfortable. Staff were friendly and really helpful.

We stayed here for a night, on our way to Helen as Helen was booked up because of Oktoberfest, which we didn’t realize was going on, the hotel was nice and clean, the bed was good, but bring your own pillows because theirs are terrible, the guy at the front desk was great, and helpful, the hotel is in a good spot Close to restaurants and Wal-Mart, it was also only about a 20 minute drive to Helen, I would stay here again
We did have a problem with the room temperature, we had the room booked for 2 weeks and we had 3 rooms as we traveled with friends, all our rooms were so hot the Air conditioner was off when we went in, we arrived late about 9:30 pm so the room sat there all day with no air flow, we turned on the air to 60 and went to Walmart to get some things we forgot and when we got back it was still hot we were sweating, it didn’t cool down until about 3am, if they knew the room was going to be used it would have been nice if they could have turned the air on like 78 and had some air circulation

Everywhere I went in Cornelia I was greeted by friendly faces and kind people. The staff at the nearby Walmart were great and I ate at an AMAZING restaurant called The Attic! The food and staff were the best.

Cornelia itself is an ok stopping point for travelers.
Cornelia itself is an ok stopping point for travelers. I would not recommend this particular hotel. 20 min farther north or south will put you in the Clayton or Gainesville areas, with many more choices.

Charming quite small town with lots of family activities in the surrounding areas. Fenders Diner is a must. 1950's style diner with period decor and music. Made from scratch food and generous portions. Make sure to save room for homemade dessert! Splash pad in town by the depot for the kiddos. Train cars to explore and a giant apple for photo opps.
The location was close to the expressway and easy to access. We stayed here as a relocation from another hotel, so not intentional, but the staff was great in helping us get settled with what we needed. They did not have a room with 2 beds, which is what we needed, but called and let us know that before checking in. Due to tight bookings in the area, we had to accept the room with one bed. When we arrived, the staff provided a roll-away bed to help us out. All was appreciated.

We liked that it was kinda away from the hustle of Helen. We could drive the short distance and be in the town and the craziness. But when we were tired, we could go back to our quiet hotel. Also, we met the new owner and he was very nice. He even showed us one of the new updated rooms. This hotel is really going to be nice once he is finished with the renovations.
We paid almost 200$ for a one night stay in a hotel that seemed outdated and didn’t feel clean. The room smelled a bit musty. The bed had some marks and hairs on the sheets.
It was completely acceptable and comparable for the area. There are not many choices for hotels, but it was a place to sleep and the pizza place delivered to us easily
