We just stayed one night as a stop-over after a long drive during our 2 week Road Trip. Very clean and welcoming reception and foyer with 24-hour coffee and water available, all the staff were polite and helpful, and there was a lovely-looking swimming pool but unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to use it :( The room was very clean with comfortable beds and we enjoyed a perfect night's sleep. The choice of breakfast (both hot and cold) was great and certainly set us up for our day ahead.

    They welcomed everybody.

They welcomed everybody. While we were there about five motorcycles showed up and they let them park under the carport to keep them out of the rain. I really liked that because my husband and I have been riding motorcycles for over 50 years and it's great to see a motel that welcomes bikers. The coffee machine was available the whole time we were there. They even had a firepit and outside seating by the river. It was great and relaxing. Even my husband said it was better than Harrah's and not so exspensive. We're thinking of going back with our grown children. The FREE breakfast was great. We also liked the ice cream and snacks you had in the lobby. Beer and wine too. We'll be back. The only thing is we have dogs and you don't allow dogs.

Nice little town, lots of shops, breweries, and restaurants; obviously an outdoorsy region due to the local outfitters and suppliers, again due to the Smoky Mtn National Park nearby; we loved the BBQ Smokehouse, and Huddle House is great for breakfast.

Dillsboro is a small town that thrives around tourism. Its main draw is the Great Smokey Mountain Railway train excursions. It's a great stop, but not a destination. You can see the entire town in about an hour on foot. Beautiful scenery.

The towns of Sylvia and Dillsboro are quaint and the surrounding areas are picturesque. Merchants are friendly and happy to assist. Restaurants are few but the ones available are unique with great staff and food. Hotel accommodations are limited and the one we stayed in (Best Western on the River in Dillsboro)seems to be relying upon its past reputation. Of course, the pandemic could be the reason staff is reticent to amend situations such as shades missing on lamps, TV not working, and basic grooming supplies missing. We were moved after one night’s stay and the room we were given was very comfortable. This experience really put a damper on our visit. We still have not received an apology from the management or company. An apology would have been appreciated and appropriate.

Great food, great scenery, just a great place to relax see some of the most beautiful country around. The Haywood Smokehouse is a great BBQ place to eat, the service was exceptional as well as the food was true Texas Style BBQ. RnR is a great Bar/Dinner - the breakfast food was exceptional and the staff treated us like we were regulars. If you are in a vehicle that you can take offroad, then take a drive up Dicks Creak Rd until the pavement ends, then keep going, it is some of the most relaxing scenery that you will ever interact with.
