Very friendly staff, nice hotel, but little bit worn out. However we had good stay and suggest other travelers if you are looking last minute stay nearbt New York, but in budget. We drove some 20 minutes from Manhattan by car - so perfect!
Renovated and newly opened April 2022. The hotel is located just 2 easy miles away from Newark International Airport (EWR).

Hotel was new and rooms nice and big with modern facilities. Down stairs has a restaurant & small coffee shop. The shuttle was handy from Newark but the drivers not always too friendly. The location is next to a prison and far from any shops/facilities. I didn't feel safe. You cannot go anywhere from the hotel unless its by Taxi.

Shuttle bus came as promised within 15-20 minutes of contacting the hotel from the airport pick up point. Runs roughly every 30 mins during the day and can be reserved at the hotel for return journeys. Check in was friendly and the room was comfortable and outside noise minimal. My early flight had been cancelled next day so I could sleep in. Didn't have breakfast. A good stay.

My first visit to East Orange, due to needing a hotel room during a Newark flight interruption. I didn’t see anything in East Orange worth coming back for, frankly. The town seems down on its luck.
I used public transportation to get to and from the airport and that worked ok.
The city hall looks nice and clean but that’s about it.
nothing, the worst welfare hotel with a staff of pathological liars. dirty, old, infested with mice and roaches everywhere. There is no brkfst as advertised. phones in the rooms are disconnected. hot water sometimes, internet sometimes, But the staff is rude and lies like nothing I have ever experienced
It looked like everything of value was sold. No lights by bed, no overhead light, sheets had crumbs in one bed carpet dirty and stained. Loud with lots of late night 1 am noise coming from others on floor. Rm smelled like smoke and ???The worst hotel experience I ever had. Is this a flop house???
NOTHING‼️ The property was old and dated, my room phone didn't work and looked like it was passed down from 2 generations ago. All of the drug addicts that are apparently staying at the hotel are just wandering around like lost souls looking for something to occupy their minds and time.
Honestly nothing was nice about this hotel. It was a filthy, partially functional, bug infested dump with no free breakfast or free shuttle (advertised as free per booking.com).
If you walk 10 min to the bus, you can go to Prudential center. It's like 40 minutes away from the hotel.
The personal was kind, smiles, gentle.
I really like staying there.
I like the location very much. Bottom line that place needs to be renovated. The location is beautiful. The hotel can be beautiful but it’s rat infested.
