Loved being right next to the river and highly recommend getting the option with a hot tub! We also received a helpful info booklet upon arrival and felt very welcomed. Location is less than 10 mins from park entrance, horse stables, town, etc. and you can walk just a couple minutes to the Wapiti pub nearby for an easy drink/dinner. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

ESTES PARK IS OUR SECOND HOME, it’s beautiful and very peaceful. So much to see and do. Love the roaming elk and deer. Must visit The Stanley Hotel and take a tour. Plenty of restaurants and shopping available. We visit at least twice a year. It would be a dream to live here

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather...

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather was sunny, yet cold and quite windy. There was an almost 20 degree Farenheit temperature difference when coming from Denver. The drive from Denver to Estes Park is an awesome experience in itself. From Lyon, you start to drive up on a windy road surrounded by mountains on both sides. It goes from 5000ft to 7500ft. The drive is very beautiful and once you climbed up Rt. 36, you start to descend just a bit and then, you come around a curve and there lays, in a valley, Estes Park with a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow tipped mountains. Estes Park is a small town with a main street, lots of unique stores, a unique looking movie theater, and many restaurants. There is a Safeway and Dollar Tree and I don't think that there are any other grocery stores there. Estes Park is also very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the home of the famous "Stanley" Hotel, which was used in the movie "The Shining". We also drove around in the surrounding area and found a few great roads that lead to parks and trails. I have truly enjoyed my 4 day stay in Estes Park and hope to be back soon.

Off-season, a great mountain town next to the Rocky Mountains. Enough stuff to do and keep busy for our trip! Ate at Rock Inn, Casa Colina and Hunters Chop House, all fun places. Getting around was pretty easy off-season, though there's a large parking lot near the entrance of Elkorn street.

We loved 4 Seasons Inn!!! We loved how close 4 Seasons was to everything! It was only about a 7 minute drive into Rocky Mountain National Park and 4 minute drive to the town! The room and bed was so cozy. We loved the fireplace. The views were incredible. The river right outside our door was so beautiful. We found that the fishing was the best at the hotel, right in our backyard. The owner was so kind and friendly. We felt right at home. We will definitely be back and we will be telling all of our friends and family that it is THE BEST!

I wasn’t sure if to give this place a try or not. I don’t typically book rooms at motels where you park in front of your room. However I read some very positive reviews and decided to give it a try as no other options in Estes Park seemed better! I am so glad I gave this a try! it was a great location, and as others said, a very clean property. the breakfast options were better than the typical hotel continental breakfasts. fresh donuts were available which was a nice touch

Everything. We usually stayed at hotels. This was our first B&B experience and it was just great! Much better than hotel stay. Chester, Lil and Rudy were the best hosts. The breakfasts were mentioned in all the previous reviews, and yes they were very right. You can’t get better breakfasts that what we had in Sonnenhof B&B. Highly recommend this place it you are coming to Rocky Mountain National spark.

Very quiet in the winter, almost nobody around, no traffic noise. Big hot tub out front. Great coffee in the room. Would gladly stay again.

If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive Estes Park accommodation this will work. The room had a very comfortable king bed and a sofa bed. Small table and desk, tv, fridge, microwave. Right on highway but noise level was not bad at all. Best of all, impeccably clean. For an old-time motel this is a good choice.
