We sat in the hot tub and stayed in the garden room, which is a private room off the main house. It has a history of its own. I won't ruin it for you but it's star-studded. Deer came up the next morning and grazed in the yard. Really you have to see this place to believe it.

Great small town with manty antique shops and several great restaurants. Most of the shops are closed on Mondays with limited Sunday hours. Best time to visit is a Friday - Saturday stay. Cute fireworks display for July 4th.

Florence is a perfectly quaint little town. Almost Mayberry! Lots of fun little stores. All surrounded by mountains and the Biggest most beautiful sky! I could just sit and watch the clouds changing artistry as the world turned. There is a really interesting castle. And nice campgrounds and lake.

If you're into antiques, there are several shops in town. We ate at Quincy's and got a full prime rib dinner for $14.95 - and it tasted fantastic! I'd get reservations though or you might be waiting a while.

It is a great place to stay cleanness is a plus and great free breakfast and staffing was nice just don’t get the back room by the entrance you’ll hear door slamming all night as I did other than that it’s a great place and comfy
Location was great for the Juntique event in town plus for getting to Canon City attractions. Owner was helpful in telling us a good route to Cripple Creek to see autumn leaves. Breakfast was continental like in most hotels -other B&B's we've stayed in had a full hot breakfast. . . but that was pre-Covid. History of the house was very interesting.
Such friendly and professional people. Treated us like friends from the first moment. Such a joy in todays impersonal hotel world. They make a difference with their personal touch and professional service
Florence is a cute, little town on the way to the Royal Gorge and is the nicest place in town to stay. It was our first time in a Bed and Breakfast and we loved it. There is so much history in this home!
The bed was super comfortable, the lamps worked, the room was clean, it was pretty quiet even though the hotel was pretty full, and it was close to things in town that we needed.
