Super 8 by Wyndham Havre De Grace Aberdeen Area, hotel in Havre de Grace

This hotel is 5 minutes from downtown Havre de Grace, Maryland and Susquehanna Museum. It serves a daily grab and go breakfast and features spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Front desk staff was very pleasant. We reserved a smoking room and she asked us to check it out before we finished the check-in process as some people are put off by the overwhelming smell of stale smoke.

This is a wonderful little town right on the Chesapeake Bay. All the people fishing and picnicking were very friendly. ride your bike or just walk the whole town from the old locks to the lighthouse and on to the boat docks. Magnificently restored old homes beautifully adorn and painted. Many good seafood restaurants or just go to River City Crabs and Seafood for carryout, right on Route 40 (ask for Jamie). We can't wait to go back!!!

It has a wonderful waterfront park on Chesapeake Bay, with a walk that tells the visitors about the town’s Revolutioniry War history. There is also an excellent seafood restaurant right next to the hotel.

Havre de Grace is such a cute, quaint town! It’s located where the Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake Bay. There’s a promenade by the water and LOTS of benches where you can sit and just enjoy the view. We just love it there!

A very quaint town with a lot to do for the whole family.

A very quaint town with a lot to do for the whole family. It gives the vibe of a beach town without direct access to the ocean. Our favorite restaurants were The Bayou and the Chesapeake Grill, which were both walking distance from our hotel. The food at both places was fantastic, as was the service from the waitstaff. We went on the 2-hour Summer Breeze boat tour with our son and that was an amazing experience as well. I recommend stopping by the Concord Point lighthouse and the Maritime Museum if you’re into stuff like that. This was our second year in a row staying down here and we really enjoyed our trip both times.

It seems that their cleaning person only cleaned bed and bath room. The previous guest moved TV (maybe because TV didn’t work), and the cleaning person didn’t even fix it. Terrible stay even for cheap price.
