Holiday Inn Express Heber City, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Heber City

Situated in the scenic Rocky Mountains, this Heber City, Utah hotel features a daily breakfast bar and offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a cable TV.

A simple 3-stat hotel in a great location. The room was huge, comfortable and very clean. I was really surprised by the quality of the breakfast. Despite being close to the road, it was quiet enough.

Shadow Ridge, hotel in Heber City

Only 100 yards from the Payday ski lift, this all seasons resort in Park City, Utah features an outdoor heated pool. Spacious rooms include cable TV while suites offer kitchen facilities.

Very spacious 1 bedroom unit with very comfy bed in main room and also comfy sofa bed. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus for our family. Kitchen was fully stocked with good quality cookware. Location is excellent, a short 7 min some uphill walk to the main Crescent ski lift at base of Park City, and very short 1 min walk to the main bus stop with many buses taking you to Main street area for shopping and meals. They even have a dedicated ski rental store on the building main floor if you need gear. Smaller sized heated outdoor pool in front of the building. Big TVs in both rooms. Can take bus ride back from Canyon's side of resort instead of rushing to ride gondola back.

We have relatives in Heber City and Midway.

We have relatives in Heber City and Midway. In addition, I have attended Quilt Retreats at the Zermatt in Midway. Staying at the Swiss Alps Inn fits my budget, and you can walk around downtown, and drive anywhere you need. It's always a beautiful drive through Provo Canyon to the Heber Valley. There's a great variety of restaurants also. We never miss the Dairy Keen (my husband loves trains!)

Heber City has lots of character and interesting places to eat. The train is great in a relaxed sort of way. But don't go on Labor Day Weekend unless you're going to the Swiss Fest in Midway and you want big city traffic jams on country roads.

Nice small town feel, great eateries, friendly people.

Nice small town feel, great eateries, friendly people. I've always enjoyed the Heber Valley, compared to SLC, which is just getting out of control, congested, and air quality challenged. We were just passing through so didn't do much but get a meal, relax, and leave early for our next stop on the road trip.

We were there for the Heber Valley Western Music and Cowboy Poetry Gathering. We missed it last year and have been attending the Gathering for the last 12 years. Heber City is growing and there are many more choices to eat. There is not a lot of "action" in the town, it's not a shopping destination. Most of the activities take place in the beautiful outdoors.

Heber is a quiet, lovely little town.

Heber is a quiet, lovely little town. For families it has a nice park, an aquatic center, a good library and some fun fast food restaurants. It's close to canyons and reservoirs for nature lovers and it's a beautiful drive to either Provo or Park City for those who want a city experience.

We enjoyed the rodeo and the fireworks. The train is always fun and we were close to the lake. The mountains and canyons are absolutely beautiful and peaceful for camping or just a nice ride in beautiful scenery.

Recently renovated; looks like a brand new hotel. Parking lot was being coated and painted in front, so we had to park in back. No biggie. Excellent accommodations. We didn't want to stay at a heavily used ski hotel, so we chose this one. Our view was great, woke up to hot air balloons taking flight in the valley. Breakfast was standard, but very well maintained and stocked. Associates were super friendly and helpful.

We found the location was away from most of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to get there if you wanted to. It was on the main road to Midway which is great place to visit. The breakfast was outstanding and the the rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The history behind the building is very fascinating. The hostess was very nice and great to talk to. The location was awesome! Very close to several parks and restaurants. The ceiling fan in the room was a nice touch. We don't usually see those in hotel rooms.

The location was great until they said that they didn't work with Booking.com so I was charged over $70 on Booking.com and $180.00 through the hotel. Didn't even get to stay in our room because the key didn't work and there were no more available rooms.

The room was very clean and the beds were awesomely comfortable. The toiletries were excellent. We liked Heber City and it was a perfect place for us to stay midway between Reno and our destination in Colorado. We would definitely stay there again.
