This hotel is grossly over-rated.. our room booked had few windows.. no ability to boil water.. parking was hugely inconvenient.. why should anyone hand over car keys so the hotel staff could move your vehicles around. Never again.. the best bit about this hotel was that Good Stuff was very close nearby for a proper breakfast & leaving after two nights was a blessing. Don't even think about it!

The Hermosa beaches are very clean and well kept.
The Hermosa beaches are very clean and well kept. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Beautiful scenery! The one major drawback back is that the restrooms were closed all except the one by the pier and there are not enough of them along the beach.

Great place!
Great place! It's away from the city hussle, lots of places to go out and eat and drink at all times. The beach is perfect, also lots of volleyball fields for everyone to come and play. With a bike you can go all the way up to Santa Monica in a reasonable time.

Hermosa Beach is a great place for a 4 night stay if you enjoy a clean sandy beach, plentiful restaurants and bars, close proximity to nearby towns and beaches. We had a fabulous dinner at MB Post Restaurant in Manhattan Beach which is only about 10 min Lyft ride. Super easy to get around on foot or by bike. Parking can be a challenge, so make sure you have parking available at your hotel or your rental. We traveled in October during COVID year, so was probably less crowded than usual. Can imagine much more traffic and parking challenges during peak season. Reservations for diner are highly recommended on weekends.

Hermosa beach has some of the best beach volleyball on earth. The strand has shopping and restaurants and bike rentals. It's one of my favorite cities on earth. Very outdoorsy city with lots of people walking, running, biking and just enjoying nature. Lots of stop signs so be patient driving around.
We travelled to a few different places in California and this hotel was by far our favourite. Vibe and design was spot on. Rooms were spacious, well thought out, very clean and comfortable. Really liked having a balcony too. Jason on reception was super friendly and helpful. He helped sort us a taxi to LAX. I'd love to come back and stay at this hotel in Hermosa beach at a better time of year when the weather is better and the area is buzzing.
The location is perfect, walking distance from everything of note in Hermosa. Also the rooms how they are angled, pretty much every room you can see a bit of the ocean. My room was absolutely massive and it was super awesome. My check in manager was super nice as well, can't wait to go back to this hotel again soon
I liked the convenient booking process. The direct access to the beach, pier, store fronts, and restaurants. The private room was cozy with easy access electrical ports. The kitchen was fully stocked if you wanted to cook a meal. Shared restroom & showers were clean.
One of the most amazing areas I’ve ever stayed. Got the private room upstairs at the front so had amazing smells of food along with sounds of beautiful guitar/live singing during the day plus epic views of the sunset and crisp ocean breeze.
Good continental self service breakfast. Which was kept spotless. If you can book the sea front rooms in the main reception building, the view is fantastic. Nice kitchen area, fridge, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom.
Location is simply amazing. The Strand, Dining, Pier, Surfing and the beautiful beach right outside your door. Breakfast was very nice. Room was comfortable too. I would definitely stay here again for the location.
great location, 60s walk from the beach front. lovely beach vibe. open plan design in reception, small gym, we’ll appointed room, clean, decent shower, friendly staff. would return with my wife. great area in general.
I enjoyed the free breakfast, and bed, bathroom was accommodating, however the carpet was dirty and had a smell. The king studio had a balcony shared with the common patio area right outside sliding door ( No privacy).
A hotel on the beach, what's not to like? Lovely patio area for guests to use. Fire places are such nice touches... On Google image the exterior of the hotel looks older but in fact it's all new. Urban, and simple...
The Grandview Inn doesn't dress itself up to be more than it is. It's a simple, very clean Hotel with an excellent location, friendly staff and large, comfortable rooms. The shower in our room was also fantastic.
Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and the area was well kept. Room was clean and fresh.
Night clerk help us by allowing us to park in parking lot in a safe and unobstructed manner.
Close to beach, airport and supermarket and great little coffee place across the street. Beautiful ocean view from large terrace. Friendly staff and very nice shared areas. Easy parking access.
This is the second time I stay in the hotel. I love how close it is to the beach. It is located in a nice neighborhood. Very friendly stuff. Medium size rooms.
