Hollidaysburg was like a trip back to yesteryear.
Hollidaysburg was like a trip back to yesteryear. Beautiful old homes, shaded streets, calm, peaceful, and just a delight to be in. I ate at a restaurant called The Dream. It was an upscale family restaurant with home cooking that was exceptionally good. I saw no children there but I am certain they would enjoy and be comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant was exceptionally clean. I was told there was a more upscale restaurant at a hotel. However, this was perfect after a long days drive. The peacefulness of the town is worth driving away from the interstate.JOYCEUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0

Small town vibe with a touch of history. Safe to wonder around to see all the historic buildings and beautiful neighborhoods. There are a couple parks for families to visit and explore.the train station does do rides on a steam train, but wasn't running when I was there.Daniel
