After witnessing the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, near Lake Nimrod, we were in search of a place to spend the night. As soon as we found cell phone coverage, we stopped to look for accommodations near Hot Springs and quickly realized we were within walking distance of the Hot Springs Village Inn. This hotel was a delightful discovery. The receptionist was exceptionally kind both during check-in and later when we asked for recommendations on a place to have dinner. The hotel is meticulously maintained, both externally (I liked the beautiful flowerbed at the entrance) and internally, boasting modern and updated décor. Rooms were very clean, the bathroom was well-stocked with all necessary products, including a hairdryer, and the beds were exceedingly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and provided an opportunity to meet other friendly guests who had also come for the eclipse. I highly recommend this property.

The location was right across the street from Hot Springs National Park. It was about a block from the Arlington Springs Hotel where we were attending a film festival and Bathhouse Row was just beyond that. The room had everything we needed including a jug to use for water from a nearby spring.

Gated communities aren't my thing, so I would never want to live here, but the natural beauty of the mountains and the kindness shown by all we interacted with left a positive impression. We hiked 52 miles of the Ouachita Trail and spent an afternoon in Hot Springs, soaking our aching bodies at the Quapaw baths and enjoying some fine beers at the Superior Bathhouse Brewery.

We enjoyed our stay at Hot Springs village.
We enjoyed our stay at Hot Springs village. Accommodations and location was perfect for us. We were a little put off when we pulled out the sleeper sofa and found food crumbs between the cushions and mattress. And then making up the sofa we had no pillow cases. It was difficult for us to communicate with staff after 4:00 p.m when staff went home. Over all, we had a great vacation and will definitely book again.

The water view is always my favorite. The area is always peaceful and quiet. The grounds are very clean and well kept. Very nice place for a week or just a few days. I would recommend to any couple that needs some time away.

Very pretty.
Very pretty. Good if you are looking for peace and quiet; however, if what you want is to party you should look for something closer in to the city - this is a 30 minute drive to the Hot Springs business district.

If you are a golfer, you will love Hot Springs Village!
If you are a golfer, you will love Hot Springs Village! Lots of golf courses available. We are not golfers. Wanted to play Pickleball, but had to pay extra fee ($10/person/time) so had limited access. Have to have a car....have to drive everywhere. Ate at several Clubs and overall good meals.

A nice quiet place to spend a week. Very clean condo.
A nice quiet place to spend a week. Very clean condo. Loved the bathroom with the spa tub. The fireplace was charming. Glad it was gas and not wood burning. Nice small balcony overlooking the lake.
I enjoyed the nearby Mexican restaurant. Stores nearby so buying food to fix in the condo was great.

Rooms were extremely nice and newly renovated. I've never walked into a hotel room that nice before. Location is easy to get to and it's a very quiet place. The staff members we met were very friendly and polite. They even chatted with us some during breakfast. The continental breakfast was good and had several options to choose from as well.
The location was perfect for us because it is the closest hotel to the trail heads we went to on the Ouachita Trail. The place is clean and tasteful. Our room was cleaned every day and provided with fresh towels and linens. The staff was courteous and professional. This is a decent low frill motel.
This property was everything we needed and then some. The property was just as pictured. It was clean and everything we could have possibly needed was provided. We look forward to returning to Arkansas next year, and I hope we can book this property again.
Amazing place was the second time my family and I stayed at the Cozy Hot Springs Village Lodge-Near Lake Desoto. House is tucked away by its self. Truly breath taken view from it's enormous back patio.
This was a very nice weekend getaway! Beautiful lake views and stylish, well kept condo. This is our fourth year to go crystal digging in Arkansas, and by far the best place we have stayed in!
We liked being on the lake with 2 options to sit outside and the space of a home versus a hotel room. We could listen to the birds and watch the fish from lower dock.
