The .ain question on here is what did I think of the breakfast, at the booking sites I searched, it claimed this place has breakfast, they simply did not. It's not that I couldn't find it, I specifically asked, after doing research that claimed they did, and they told me that they do not serve breakfast. We did like the pool and the coziness.

I’ve been Staying in Mackinaw City for the last 21 years I’ve Been impressed with it since the 1st stay in 2002 I’ve even stayed There The Last week of November and I walked the Bridge in 2022I KNOW it’s NOT the Chamber of Commerce’s Fault BUT the Prices of EVER-THING Has Gone EXTREMELY HIGH for Elderly Visitors The Best Prices I found was when I stayed in November 🤷♂️🤷♂️ But then there’s Not much to do in the winter months

Beautiful city! There is so much to do if you have the time.
Beautiful city! There is so much to do if you have the time. Walking around in the fall weather was enjoyable. Mackinac Brewhouse wine tasting was enjoyable because Stephanie was so nice. The lighthouse and walking path are a must see. The city is very clean. I could have stayed longer than my 4 days and found plenty to do or just relax and enjoy.

Awesome visit this year, during our 2022 visit most of the seasonal staff all over the city were rude and had bad attitudes , this year was opposite where staff members all over the city were outstanding , I already miss Nonnas pizza and my new favorite ice cream place The Sweet Spot on the main drag , the burgers we had at the White Buffalo were delicious, I had the bison burger and my wife had beef burger
,both were delicious but the bison one is better

I highly recommend the Labor Day Bridge Walk and Headlands International Dark Sky Park. A day trip to Mackinac Island or Sault Ste Marie is fun if you've never been, but maybe I've just stayed in Mackinaw City too many times, I couldn't find much I wanted to do. Tried to go to Tahquamenon Falls State Park in the UP, but road construction delays were such that I turned around and went back. Some of my favorite shops have closed, restaurant options and quality were less than my previous visits. The weather didn't help, it was the hottest, most humid Labor Day weekend anyone could remember, and then there were thunderstorms, wind, and rain the last 2 days of my visit.

I always enjoy a trip to the Straits!
I always enjoy a trip to the Straits! There are plenty of activities to do in Mackinaw City; we typically take a trip to Mackinaw Island. The only bad thing is that prices seem to be higher in Mackinaw City than in St. Ignace.
Good value for a reasonable price. Decent location that's a short trip from the major thoroughfares in Mackinaw City, and close enough to walk and especially to bike if you'd prefer to get around on your feet. Hotel staff were accessible, prompt and friendly. Room was neat and fairly clean, quality continental breakfast, and lengthy indoor pool hours if you'd like to get in a swim or refresh yourself bright and early or late in the evening to wind down. I will strongly consider staying here again the next time I visit the area.
The staff was wonderful, very friendly and kind. The hotel was very clean. And they also told me the best places to eat, and what boat will get me to the island faster. I had my children with me and they were very friendly and super cool with my daughters. They also went above and beyond because I forgot a picture at the hotel, and they were so awesome that they mailed it to my house which that’s a five star in my book.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room really did have a bridge view. We had a problem with the TV and they came right up to fix it. Coffee was available in the morning and a snack bag for breakfast. The room appeared clean and the hotel is right on the water, I think it would be a great place for the summer to enjoy the outdoors and sandy beach area.
The front staff receptionist was very professional, the rooms looked half finished, molding missing and carpentry shady at best. The view was nice and the pet friendly policy was great, it's hard to find pet friendly hotels in Mackinaw City.
The staff was nice and understanding they allowed me to view several rooms because I did not like how the hotel look I did not like none of the rooms but the rooms I selected had a nice view but was not clean and was 1 star or no stars
Beach for kids ( shallow, no undertow), nice sand for castle-building, nice fire pits, nice wood chairs, clean space in cabins, very friendly and responsive service, bathrooms small but clean and all worked well. Great view. Quiet.
Loved the location of the hotel, the bridge was across the street and the downtown area was only a few blocks away. The beds were so comfy, the best ones we stayed in all weekend. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Riviera Motel and it did not disappoint. My spouse comment on this being the clean hotel she has stayed in. The location was ideal being right on the water next to the bridge.
The beds were fairly comfortable. The hotel was a good location to surrounding attractions. The pool and water park were fun and was nice that we were able to use other location for the water parks as well.
