There was food from the previous occupants in the fridge. The counters could have been cleaned better. I cut my shower short because the water wasn’t going down the drain and was over my ankles. The omelets were tough. Oatmeal was watery.

Mendota is basically a farming community.

Mendota is basically a farming community. I didn't go into the town, just spent the nite in the Super 8 motel. Fuel is over priced at both truck stop/stations next to Super 8 Motel. (51 cents cheaper per gallon down I-39 in LA Salle.)

Oops, the first review I wrote was a mistake - it was for another hotel! In Mendota the hallways were dark and gloomy, the room was old and worn, corners in the bathroom were dirty, breakfast was limited and not good.

Everything was great except the breakfast.

Everything was great except the breakfast. Breakfast consisted of "pastries" which includes Ho-Hos, Twinkies, and Oatmeal Cream cookies. Apples were the school ze of nectarines and the coffee had zero flavor. It was weak and tasted like hot water. Everything else was fantastic.
