It was awful! We got to the hotel at 9:30pm.
It was awful! We got to the hotel at 9:30pm. Checked in and went for the elevator. We were tired and worn out from the drive. As soon as the doors opened on the second floor... I knew we had a problem. Hallway floor didn’t look like it’s been vacuumed in quite a while. Wall next to elevator had a big hole in it and was crumbling. Upon entering the room the smell was overwhelming. My fiancé went to the bathroom and said we have mold in and around the tub. My girls started checking beds( not uncommon for us) one opened the refrigerator... OMG! It had mold and molded food inside it! Blood on curtains, stained bedding and dirty floors. Molded coffee grounds still in coffee maker. We headed back down to desk. Attendant never offered to have room cleaned. She said the most she could do is write a note for management as they had no other rooms available. So... after our long trip there.. we had to go find another hotel. Oh... if you value your vehicle... the parking lot is not a parking lot... it’s a pot hole exhibit of the worst case scenarios. I wish we had taken more pictures but we just wanted to find a clean place to sleep.

Super 8 in Mifflinville lived up to my expectations. Woman at the desk was welcoming and helpful. The pullout cot had a beat up mattress and could have been more comfortable. We liked that the motel was easy to find, right off the highway and we like the free breakfast, especially the waffle making machine.PeterCanada

One of staff members was very cranky. Rules at Red Roof are weird. Pre pay before guest stays for a certain period, then if that period is not fully stayed the guest has to petition corporate for money back. Return of funds can take several days to weeks. That is insane. I will try to stay away from Red Roof Inn as a destination.KKevinUnited States
