Excellent in all respects - clean rooms, hallways and grounds. No noise - not traffic, train, fellow guests - blissfully quiet! The manager went the extra mile (plus some) when I had difficulty with my laptop and couldn’t accomplish my task on the guest computer in the lobby. All staff were very friendly. I look forward to returning in the future, as I had a very comfortable stay.

What not to like, the hosts Nance and Thom are so welcoming into their lovely home. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. There are lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity and for breakfast you can stay in as they prepare a fabulous breakfast with fruit (if in season) from their own back yard (which is huge btw). If you are going to Shenandoah and this place is avaible look no further! A place with a heart Ps.if you have the chance to be there at 5:30 you can enjoy a nice drink at their bar!

We are genealogists doing research at local courthouses and have found Orange to be centrally located with the best accommodations and dining options. We were in Orange to track down an ancestor, who proved to be fairly elusive, but everyone we encountered at the Historical Society, the Courthouse, and the Madison Museum was beyond helpful and friendly. Beautiful countryside and beautiful people.
