The General Manager called the police on me and forcibly removed me from my room in my pajamas the week of Christmas when I was visiting my children. I had paid for my room in full and my credit card was on file at the front desk at the time. It was a miserable and humiliating experience and I will never stay in another Marriott Hotel again. I am still considering suing them for the way they treated me.

It lies outside washinhton dc, in a quiet neighborhood. If you have a car, you can park in the rockville metro station parking, 10 minutes from the Homewood suites (5 dollar). Then you can take the red metro to Washington dc, in about 30 minutes.

The rooms were well appointed, spacious & extremely comfortable. The gym was excellent & being located on the 5th floor meant that there’s a great view. It’s very well equipped & most most mornings ( we were there for six nights ) I had it to myself. The staff were delightful, all very friendly & helpful. We loved our stay.
