Located in a very small town. Old hotel with an old hotel smell, but comfortable bed, clean, and quiet. Room had a mini fridge, microwave, and good wifi. No breakfast or other facilities. Good place to just grab a bed while on the road. Restaurant next door had passable food but not very good pizza.

Economical. Dated but clean. Very quiet. On main road. Very small quaint village. Staff friendly n helpful. Liquor store in town closes at 5 PM on Sundays. Fast food n pizza available in town. Named after the multitude of Pelicans in the area (over 100 lakes nearby). Popular with sport fishermen, but tourist season ends mid-Sept. Very quiet after that.

we took advantage of the bar/restaurant next to our motel...
we took advantage of the bar/restaurant next to our motel for our dinner and it was exceptional with very friendly fast service. The next morning for breakfast we ate at the truck stop and again were happy with our meal and felt we were well served for our money. Everyone we met in Rothsay was very friendly and welcoming. Keep in mind, it is a small town and there really isn't a lot for activity but it was a clean, nice town.
