It was cool to look at the old buildings and "stuff" inside them. A lot of places were closed. Need a store to purchase things like ice, snacks, aspirin. Activities were expensive. Bob's Pizza was excellent! Hand made , great crust and fresh ingredients. However, the soda machine was out of ice.

A very interesting and historical place. Plenty to see.

A very interesting and historical place. Plenty to see. We visited just after Labour Day and there were very few places open to eat in. The train was broken down and some of the attractions were closed. Enjoyed the museums though and Nevada City was excellent.

Virginia City is an amazing living "ghost town," albeit, lots of activities, restaurants and entertainment! There is amazing American history in this little town! Gold folks! Also, a train museum (Nevada City; 1 mile N. of) to ghost walks, to stagecoach rides, quaint shops and a whole lot more! Love all of the character there and the restoration of the buildings from the Old West! Definitely worth coming to see and experience!

We loved it. Had an excellent dinner at the Wells Fargo.

We loved it. Had an excellent dinner at the Wells Fargo. Enjoyed shopping in the stores. Loved the fact that 80% of the buildings are original. They did an excellent job mixing in the current businesses with the historic ones. Had an awesome stagecoach ride. Stayed in the hotel on Main Street.
