The team is very friendly and helpful! It was a great pleasure staying with them. The beach is close and you have a small sea view from the terasse. There is a small breakfast and additionally a complementary wine hour in the afternoon! Super!

The Hawthorne was recommended to us by a couple we met the previous evening. The views are amazing with a direct view over the beach to the ocean. The rooms are a good size with large beds. The location is perfect for a short walk into Chatham where there are plenty of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Parking is plentiful and great to leave the car whilst one walks into town. The short walk to the fishing pier is well worth the effort as there's lots of seals to see.

Excellent hosts welcomed us when we arrived at the house. In the morning there is tea coffee juice bagels and fruit provided which was a lovely touch. We had a coffee machine microwave and fridge in the room. Great house keeping every day we were offered towels and anything else we required
