If you have any interest in free air sports, or flying, this is the place to be. Hang gliding, Paragliding, Ultralight, to many things to list, at your door step. Take a discovery hangliding tandem flight to high above the GA mountain ridges. SEE FOR MILES!!! After landing your flight, relax on the back porch, and watch everyone else come and go. Drive up to the shop, and ramp, enjoy the mountain top views. Hang gliders, paragliders, ultralight aircraft, right from your back porch. The friendliest, of friendly people. As with any good meal we save the best for last, once it all gets put away, just before dusk, a peace comes over the valley. Quiet, very, very quiet. A million stars all around. I know I sound like an ad, but it was perfect for a beginner pilot like me. I'm hesitant to write a review, you all will come take up my sweet spot, and the next time i call it will be all booked up. This hotel was very clean and well designed. It was convenient to Ruby Falls, which was the main purpose of our visit to Chattanooga. It was also pet friendly.

Nice easy booking in with a girl who was new to the job. Our room was just as we expected, nice & clean, suitably stocked with towels etc. Bathroom was nice & clean. The view from our room was looking towards the Waffle House which made me hungry :-) Sadly the pool was covered over as we missed the "summer season" by a week I think. For two of our evening meal`s we ate at the Logan`s Roadhouse which was about a 10 minute walk up the road. Both times we ate there the food was luke warm on arrival & quite expensive for what it was. The first night there I had the idea of walking through the wooded area that backs onto the hotel, bad move. It looked like people were living in there. The other two nights we ate at Cracker Barrel straight over the parking lot past the Waffle House. The food was much hotter and we sat outside afterwards in the rocking chairs for at least 45 minutes. One of the owners came out to speak to us to see if we enjoyed our meal etc. She was lovely to talk to and even sent out one of her staff to guide us on things to visit etc. All in all we had a great stay, this location was perfect for visiting Ruby Fall`s, Lookout Mountain, Rock City Gardens and Chattanooga Station was only a 10 minute drive away at night. a GREAT morning out was with the DUCK TOUR on the river in a WW2 DUKW, a six wheel truck that is a boat. This was our favourite excursion in which we both got to drive the boat. The location for us was perfect and really easy to find. We didn`t see any undesirables in the parking lot or any drug use etc.
