This was honestly the best accommodation in our whole 5 week Vietnam itinerary. The wide gazebo common areas surrounded by a lush green garden and a river are just fantastic to escape stressful cities. There where hammocks everywhere to relax, free bananas and a great dinner for a really good price. The staff is amazing, they speak good English and help you with everything. It’s also a smaller homestay so that you can actually connect with other guests in the common areas. We stayed in a hut for two persons, which had everything we needed.

Staying at this Homestay was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere. The food served was not just delicious but also offered a taste of authentic local cuisine. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary bikes provided by the staff, allowing us to explore the surroundings at our own pace. The staff deserves special commendation for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience, offering valuable insights and recommendations for exploring the area. Their guidance not only enriched our journey but also helped us navigate through the Mekong delta with ease in the next days.

This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals and neighborhoods and lots of opportunities to interact with locals. We took a bike ride one day and people would say hello to us as we passed. Another day we took a tour and got to get a bigger perspective on life here. One of the most enjoyable trips we've had and the best of this 2-week vacation!

If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better go to Can Tho. Ben Tre just has not a lot to offer. The only thing you can visit is the night market, but it is not special. Only cheap tourist stuff that you will find on every other market in Vietnam

Ben Tre/My Tho are nice if you are interested in discovering the different islands around: they all have their own speciality: honey, coconut, etc. The boat tour is lovely especially if you decide to go for a private one. The city has a beautiful pagoda that is worth visiting.

We were only at the homestay and on a boattrip one afternoon. Did’nt go to the city of Ben Tre. A couple of hours on a bicykletrip would definetly have been interresting, but with three kids, we found it too difficult.

I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay.
I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay. The family let me borrow a bike, showed me where to cycle to in the area, arranged a boat trip on the river, arranged a bus ticket for my next destination. Everything was excellent and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to stay with an amazing family. Thank you for having me!
It is located about 3 km away from the Ben Tre center - a short bicycle ride to the center. Thus, you can experience both city and rural life styles easily. Access from Ho Chi Minh City is a piece of cake if you use FUTA bus. The company offers a free shuttle bus service to this property from the Ben Tre bus station. Area around this property was very good for a bicycle ride. Luckily, there were many bicycles available and they were free. During my stay, I went to so many places by bicycle and met many local people. It was every wonderful.
We stayed for 3 nights and loved the Mekong slow lifestyle under the rain. The hotel facilities are very nice, hidden within the hidden and plants : it is a beautiful and relaxing environment in the Mekong Delta. The food is excellent (cooked fresh from the market everyday) and you wouldn’t need to leave the property except for the tours. the owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and propose activities for you, in a nice and respectful way. he is the best host you can dream of ! Way to go, Khoa!
The location itself is gorgeous, situated outside the actual city of Ben Tre City, its a semi-quiet place with unique thatch roofed huts with a lovely mini lake and hammocks to relax on.
The staff and food are what makes it brillaint, such lovely staff who did everything they could to make our 2 night stay as comfortable as possible.
Breakfast is complimentary but dinner you have to pay 150,000 vietnamese dong for, relatively inexpensive but it was very good.
Thuan is very helpful and a great host! His past experience as a tour guide ensures that you have a great understanding of HCM and anything that you're curious about. His family is also very hospitable and welcoming. One of my best experiences traveling because not just the warm hospitality, but also I get to understand Vietnam a lot more from a local perspective which I find it hard learning about when I was traveling due to language barrier.
it was in an amazing location off the touristy areas, surrounded by authentic life and nature. The rooms were large and very comfortable.
But the best part? The hosts. from the amazing food they cooked to taking time to show us around their neighborhood, it was everything a homestay should be. if you are in Ben Tre, definitely book a stay here—you won’t regret it!
BenTre Coco Lodge is one place that you will never forget. We stayed 3 fantastic days. It's calm, authentic and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Thai is always willing to show his village and give you many recommendations. Also, we have a Vietnamese dinner, with delicious handmade dishes.100%worthy
Idyllic countryside retreat. The family was so helpful, even arranging our bus back to HCMC and a fantastic private boat tour for a very reasonable price. Particularly appreciated the availability of tasty vegetarian options on the menu (difficult to find in Vietnam). Also very cute, sweet dogs.
Amazing! The location is very remote, but once at the Mekong Home, you are completely taken care off by the very friendly staff. Food is excellent (Vietnamese), day trips are offered and the free bicycles come in very handy to explore the neighbourhood. Highly recommended
We were extremely well received by Ben and his family. We ate very well and had a pleasant time with them. The rooms are magnificent and located in an idyllic setting. Thank you again for this moment which will remain engraved in our memories of our stay in Vietnam.
Amazing garden! Also great location: using the free offered bycicle you're in the Ben tre city center in about 30min. Furthermore, there are a few nice back country trips you can explore yourself on bike or alternatively book a boat tour. Last, super nice host family.
Welcoming, beautiful and peaceful. The most unique place I stayed in my trip through Vietnam. You will be welcomed as part of the family, have the space to share with the rest of the guests and enjoy the beautiful nature and amazing food. Don't miss the boat tour.
Really liked our stay in Mango Home Riverside, the hotel is really nice and the staff is very friendly and always available (special thanks to Mr Phuong for always helping us).
We also did a cruise managed by the hotel, we really liked the program and the guide.
Ben and staff were more than helpful .Ben is a true diplomat and should be in either government or a position where he betters the tourism industry in Vietnam. He is so informed and worried about pollution plastics. His knowledge and language skills excel.
The owner was amazing! He made the experience very genuine. He even drove me into town to catch my bus! He knows a lot about Vietnam and wants to share it with his guests. He will even cook dinner for you if you don't want to go out.
Beautiful small hotel, in a handsome natural setting, staffed and run by the loveliest, kindest people you could imagine. We took breakfast and dinner every day, and the food was the best we experienced in Vietnam. Perfection!
we had a lovely stay! Hong is a wonderful host and his wife an excellent cook. We did a motorcycle tour of Ben Tre and the guide was great and made us taste loads of local specialties! highly recommended
Good location, next to the market and the river, the room is big and clean. Staff are friendly. I have been to many hotels in Vietnam, so far this has been the best.
