Great Restaurant and food..They should hire out emergency lights for load shedding as they leave 3 candles in the units but is very little light for such darkness...or have solar lights outside with battery backup for guests to navigate.units need upgrades..taps are cheap and rusty..shower head is very cheap and basic..just changing these will uplift the unit tenfold.double bed is 2 single beds put together..not advertised as such hence false advertising...not comfortable at all.Other than this units are old but still neat.Definitely change the taps and shower head and the rest will still be acceptable.

Beautiful area, have a plan though of what it is that you would like to do as drives can get a bit long and exhausting. Graskop is a must see!!! The three rondavels is absolutely breath taking from the forever resort upper viewing.

I loved almost everything and could have stayed longer to...
I loved almost everything and could have stayed longer to complete the Panorama route. I came back home rejuvenated. They beauty of the mountains is just out of this world. The only thing that is disturbing is the potholes on the roads.

The chalet was clean, spacious, immaculately maintained and offered a high level of privacy. Facilities in the area and within the resort are excellent and staff were all ridiculously helpful. We were tired after 30 days in SA and this was our oasis. There is sightseeing about to last a week and we will stay there for longer next time.

We are a family of 4 with two small children ages 4 & 6 and...
We are a family of 4 with two small children ages 4 & 6 and our holiday in Matibidi was incredible! The landscape is extraordinary and the drive along the R532 was truly breathtaking. We highly recommend this trip to anyone in need of an escape from the hustle and bustle of a city. We will certainly return to this part of the world again.
